Clea Morgan

February 8, 1933 — October 5, 2018

Clea Ballard Morgan, age 85, passed away on October 5th, 2018 in the Teton Valley Hospital.  She was born on February 8th, 1933 in Victor Idaho on the block she lived on until her death.  Her parents were Linden N. Ballard and Viona Bagley.

Clea lived in the Chapin area until she graduated from Teton High School in 1951.  She then lived and worked in Idaho Falls until she married in 1954. They had 3 wonderful children; Chester Lynn ; Cynthia Viona; John Albon

When divorced in 1960, she moved back to Teton Valley where she happily lived out the rest of her life. She was a devoted mother and did an amazing job of raising her children by herself.

She was so happy and proud to be a grandmother and enjoyed teaching her 3 grand- children all that she could including canning up to 2 weeks before she passed.

A respected Aunt and a genuinely loyal friend, Clea was well loved and respected in her community. A dedicated Woman of Faith; she was raised in the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints in which she was very actively involved throughout her life. She was an avid bowler in leagues with friends for many years.

Clea had a way of making those around her feel welcomed and good about themselves, hence the outpour of friends and family that would stop by to visit her.  Her kindness and generosity knew no bounds. She enjoyed making gifts of the many beautiful and unique creations that she made by hand. Clea was the most gracious woman anyone could ever know.

Well known as an Amazing Cook and Baker, Clea worked at many various places here in the valley until 1989, when she retired.

Clea was an extraordinary Quilter, Talented Seamstress, Extremely Gifted in Embroidery, Tatting, Crocheting and Knitting, which won her many awards and ribbons in the county and state fairs.  She always kept busy making and designing very unique and special patterns.
